Now I lay me down to sleep
I count my blessings, head to feet.
Try as I may, my thoughts still spin
About my day and how it's been.
I ask my God to listen here
to thoughts and prayers I hold so dear.
Surround me now in perfect light,
Keep my family safe this night.
And tomorrow, when light shines,
Give us strength and love and time.
When frustrations leads the away,
Let grace and love fill the day.
